He is survived by: his wife Shelly Waitman of Lamont; his children, Heather Waitman of Davenport, Nick Waitman (Megan) of Muscatine, Kori Jones (Morgan) of Aurora and Kyle Jones (Mary) of Humbolt; his grandchildren, Garret, Dalton, Brooklyn, Bentley and Lincoln; and his siblings, JoDee Devlin (Craig) of Lamont and Lenny Waitman (Kathy) of Arlington.
