It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernadette Becker of Lansing, Iowa, who passed away on August 8, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Mauss and Julia Mauss (Blake); her husband Allie; her sisters, Sister Mary Bernard Mauss, Betty Burke, Dorothy Welper and Kathleen Becker; and her brothers-in-law, Harold Welper, Ray Burke, Merle Welper, Harold "Ike" Colsch and Joe Becker.
She is survived by: her children, Dave Becker (Karen) of La Crescent, MN, Barb Bulman (Dan) of La Crescent, MN, Darryl Becker (Donna Magtibay) of Rochester, MN, Kerry Becker (Jody) of Highland, IL, Tim Becker (Kris) of Lansing, Sus Herman (Ron) of Waukon and Brian Becker (Jen) of Van Meter, IA; her grandchildren, Danielle, Jeff (Maryam), Kaite Becker, Abby Welsh (Chad), John (Hailey), Anthony Becker, Matt (Alyssa), Ally Becker, Michael Becker, Sydney, Samantha Herman, Nathan and Blake Becker; and her siblings, Joan Welper, Shirley Colsch, John Mauss (Mary Lou), Jim Mauss (Carol) and Maureen Strothman (Orville). She is also survived by five step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren.
