She was predeceased by: her parents, William John and Doris May Smith Laverty; her husband Clyde Vernon Eddy; her brother Robert Eugene Laverty; her granddaughter Ann Allstrom; and her great grandchild Hailee.
She is survived by: her children, Bill Eddy (Sue) of Waterloo, Sarah Eddy (Matt Kopsa) of Gilman and Sam Eddy (Nicki) of Gilman; her grandchildren, Rachel Howard (Jayme), Taylor Eddy (McKensie), Celeste Eddy and Dana Grovo (Brandi); her great grandchildren, Alayna, Isaac and Juniper; and her siblings, Deborah Laverty (Jim Arges) and Dennis Laverty.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Laurel Community Church (209 S Main St, Laurel, IA 50141). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
