She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Sietmann and Mamie Sietmann (Bollhoefer); her husband Jim Veren; her son Vic Veren; her granddaughter Hillary Curran; and her siblings, Clifford Sietmann, Phyllis Cosby (Sietmann), Wilma Sietmann and Katherine Whitman (Sietmann).
She is survived by: her children, Jenette Curran (Patrick) of West Burlington, Iowa, Cynda Hilsabeck (Chuck) of Altoona, Iowa and Shelly Sabatka (John) of Madison Lake, Minnesota; her daughter-in-law Kathy Veren (Vic) of Marshalltown, Iowa.; her grandchildren, Andrea Bowen (Marty) of West Burlington, Nick Curran of Chandler, Arizona, Clint Veren (Jamie) of Omaha, Nebraska, Luke Veren (Maria) of Laurel, Iowa, Taia Veren of Dubuque, Iowa, Clare Veren, Travis Hilsabeck (Kristin) of Monroe, Iowa, Tiffany Dudoit (Curtis) of Des Moines, Iowa, Randi Sabatka of Arizona, Jay Sabatka of Madison Lake, Minnesota and Joe Sabatka of Jacksonville, Florida.; and her great grandchildren, Prior, Dexter, Cooper Bowen, Caden, Judson, Jorgen Veren, Hailey, Maci, Kenzie, Tate Veren, Ali, Lincoln, Eisley Hilsabeck and Cailo Dudoit.
