She is survived by: her grandchildren, Alexandra, Christian, Kyllian Lovetere, Quinn and Charlotte Walstead; her brother Gene Mackie of Cedar Falls, IA; and her sisters-in-law, Leritta Mackie of Boone, Jo Ann Mertens of Mt. Pleasant and Delores Walstead of Spirit Lake.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Laurens United Methodist Church (201 W Main St, Laurens, IA 50554). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 1:30 PM at the First Christian Church (324 W Section Line Rd, Laurens, IA 50554).
