It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis G. Hudson of Laurens, Iowa, who passed away on January 19, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Hudson and Bernice Hudson (Truelson); his sons, Douglas and Jeff; his granddaughter Amy Hudson; his sisters, Janet Cronbaugh (Darrell) and Avis Gregerson (Paul); his stepsons, Randy Olson and Dan Olson; and his stepson-in-law Dan Coffin.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Olson (Attwooll) of Laurens; his children, Penny (Clair Rubel Jr.) of Curlew, Dean Hudson (Dawn) of Ruthven, Curt Hudson (Lorie) of Laurens, Joni (Kenny Bentsen) of Sac City and Craig Hudson (Jodie) of Laurens; his stepdaughter Kristi Coffin of Plymouth, MN; and his sister Deanna Grundmeier (Blake) of Fort Dodge, IA. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 21 plus great-grandchildren.
