Don L. Schossow Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Don L. Schossow of Laurens, Iowa, born in Storm Lake, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 1, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Schossow and Matilda Schossow (Groth); his sister Colleen; his son Clint Schossow; his stepson Mike Schossow; and his brother-in-law Paul Stumpf.
He is survived by: his children, Shelly Schossow of Rockwell City, Julie Schossow of Laurens and Jodi Schossow of Pocahontas; and his siblings, Shirley Stumpf of Fonda, Dwayne Schossow (Darlene) of Estes Park and Dave Schossow (Theresa Willie) of Laurens. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Powers Funeral Home - Laurens (263 Ralston St, Laurens, IA 50554). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at the Newell Cemetery.
