It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Pickar of Lawler, Iowa, who passed away on November 28, 2023, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father James Pickar; his parents-in-law, Hugh and Marvelene King; and his brothers-in-law, Tony Lensing and Alan King.

He is survived by : his mother Rosalie Pickar (Kriener) of New Hampton; his wife Lois King of Lawler; his children, Dawn Philo (CJ) of New Hampton and Chad (Carissa) of Lawler; his grandchildren, Taylor Durnan (Charles) of New Hampton, Alex Philo of New Prague, MN, Kiara Philo of Walker, MN, Cale Pickar of Lawler and Chloe Pickar of Lawler; his sisters, Cindy Zeien (Tom) of New Hampton and Janet Schwickerath New (Tony); his siblings-in-law, Dale King (Cathy) of Lawler and Judy Lensing of Calmar; and his nephew Ron Leibold (Goudy).
