She was predeceased by: her sons, PJ Sitzmann and Russell Dean Sitzmann; her parents, Richard O'Bryan and Gladys O'Bryan; and her brother Richard O'Bryan (Mary).
She is survived by: her husband Paul Joseph Sitzmann; her children, Todd Sitzmann (Lisa), Terri Holzman (Russ), Lynn Dull (Dan), Annette Vlotho (Jody), Mitch Sitzmann (Annette), Kim Pick (Todd), Kyle Sitzmann (Lisa), Bill Sitzmann (Valerie), Betty Harms (Larry), Gary Sitzmann (Nikki), Corey Sitzmann (Becky) and Eric Sitzmann (Kelly); and her sisters-in-law, Alyce Reuter and Rita Sitzmann. She is also survived by 37 grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren.
A rosary will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 3:45 PM at the All Saints Parish - St. Joseph (605 Plymouth St NE, Le Mars, IA 51031). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A prayer will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Expressions of sympathy may be expressed to the family through http://www.rexwinkelfh.com.. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Gehlen Catholic Schools in Le Mars.
