With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carol Ann (Le Mars, Iowa), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 15, 2026 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, August Byers and Pearl Byers (Jacoway). She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jamie Schoenherr, Shannon Hite, Sara Flanders, Joseph Casey, Michael Casey, Adam Schoenherr, Amanda Dannenbring, Leah Lovsmith and Emily Wankum; and her children, Eugene Schoenherr (Loriann), Russell Schoenherr (Julie) of Sioux City, IA, Dennis Schoenherr of Le Mars, IA, Diane Schoenherr of Minneapolis, MN and Lori Morrison (Greg) of Le Mars, IA. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
