He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Clifford, Mildred Boetger and Leroy Schulz; his aunts and uncles, Gene Nelson, Beverly Hanna, Betty Schulz, Betty Saltsgiver, Paulette Lewis, Joni, Bill Schulz, Alvin "Duke", Sandy Schulz, Helen, John Jaros, Shirley, Bill Ainsworth, Pete Kamstra, Charles Keller and Larry Connor; his cousins, Misty Jo Hanna, Stacy Boetger, Heath Bermel, Linda Larkin and Terri Meyer; and his nephew Jagar Marcus King.
He is survived by: his parents, Cathlin Schulz (Boetger) and Darrell Schulz Sr.; his daughter Natasha Nickael Ward (Chris); his grandchildren, Ahrianna Westhoff, Rhyen Ward and Diesel Ward of Le Mars; his son Tristan Scott Schulz (JaLisa); his grandchild SkyLee Schulz of Evansville, Indiana; his sisters, Crystal Coon (Brian) of Le Mars, Brenda Sturgeon (Mark) of Le Mars, Robin Jongerius (Justin) of Le Mars and Tina Luinstra (Brian) of Ashton, Iowa; his aunts and uncles, Manuel, Nancy Schulz, Diane Kamstra, Mark Saltsgiver, Gerald Lewis, Leroy "Junior" Schulz, Sharon Keller, Bonnie Connor, Jim Hanna, Carol Nelson, Randy and Ardis Boetger; and his cousin Tim Schulz. He is also survived by nieces, and nephews.
