She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Stone and Francis Stone (Chase); her husband Norman Hemme; her son David Hemme; her siblings, Dona Dressen (Dale) and Jimmie Stone; and her sister-in-law Audrey Schlump.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Petersen (Gene) of Orange City, IA, Darla Berkenpas (Jeff) of Le Mars, IA and Debra Ver Mulm (David) of Sheldon, IA; her daughter-in-law Helena McDougall (Shayne) of Le Mars, IA; her sister Lavonne Pease (Glenn) of Blaine, MN; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Stone of Omaha, NE. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren.
