With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Judith Kay Bowman (Le Mars, Iowa), who passed away on May 23, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy L. Logan (Boyd) and William L. Logan; her stepfather Ed Boyd; her sisters, Janet Martin (Logan) and Nancy Logan; her stepgrandmother Blanche Boyd; her aunt Aileen Albert; and her mentor Glada Koerselman.
She is survived by: her nieces, Belinda DeWitt of Mt. Pleasant and Teresa Johnson of Solon; her brother-in-law William Martin of New London; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Chandler DeWitt, Eli DeWitt, Hunter Johnson, Keegan Johnson, Trice DeWitt and Blakely DeWitt; and her friends, Judy Stokesberry of Remsen, Dr. Katherine Butler of Wayne, NE, Dr. Marilyn Lowe of Ute, Angel Anderson of Le Mars, Mary Valentine of Le Mars, Margaret Henrich of Le Mars, Dena Plendl of Le Mars, Charlotte Hebert of Westfield, Brenda Groon of Akron and Wet-Nose.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (735 5th St, Merrill, IA 51038).
