With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathleen Kay Sitzmann (Le Mars, Iowa), who passed away on December 26, 2022 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Junior Kowalke and Beverly Kowalke; and her brother Steve Kowalke. She is survived by : her daughter Beverly Kowalke (Smith); her husband Steve Sitzmann of Le Mars; her son Adam Sitzmann (Carol, family: Kyle, Claudia) of Palm Harbor, FL; her grandchildren, Adalyn and Dominik; her son Travis Sitzmann (LeAnn) of Le Mars, IA; her grandchildren, Ava, Jefferson and Matthew; her daughter Tina Huls (Tyler) of Le Mars, IA; her grandchildren, Carter and Madison; her son Tyler Sitzmann (Jena Lenz) of Le Mars, IA; her grandchildren, Hayden and Mason; her great grandchild Bella; her niece Amyann Schindhelm (Mike) of Wisconsin; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Tristan and Jenslee. She is also survived by several brothers and sisters in law, aunts, and uncles.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be to Sunnybrook Community Church or to Kathy's family.
