She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Albeck and Bernadine Albeck (Edmeier); her parents-in-law, Wein and Gertrude Van Oort (Oldenkamp); her husband Bernie Van Oort; her children, Tom Van Oort and Julie Morrison; her sons-in-law, Larry Morrison and Steve Dolph; her siblings, Roy Albeck and Ann Haase; her great grandchild Hensley Harms; her niece Tracy Bomer; and her nephew Frankie Warner.
She is survived by: her children, Bob Van Oort (Mary) of Springfield, SD and Lori Dolph (Doug Harms) of Le Mars, IA; her grandchildren, Jim Van Oort (Megann), Matt Van Oort (Ashley), Mike Van Oort (Melissa), Mark Van Oort (Nikki), Shaun Van Oort (Elysha), David Van Oort (Charlene), Abraham Maske (Jamie), Jeremy Maske (Christine), Heather Rhodes (Willie), Holly Curtis (Caleb), Brandy Powell (Bruce), Joe Van Oort (Stacey), Michelle York (John), Andy Appledorn, Morgan Hanson (Jaz), Kyle Dolph (Maggie) and Michael Harms; and her in-laws, Sandy Albeck of Holiday Island, AR and Frank Haase of Glenwood, IA. She is also survived by several great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Rexwinkel Funeral Home (107 12th St SE, Le Mars, IA 51031). A prayer will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
