She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Pecks and Margaret Pecks (Kock); and her siblings, Robert Pecks and Betty Fisher. She is survived by: her daughter Megan DeMeuse (James) of Prior Lake, MN; her grandchildren, Zoey, Mia and Mason; her sister-in-law Denise Pecks of Columbus, NE; her nephew Todd Pecks; her great-nephew Tyler; her sibling's child Tracey Gulyas; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jake, Brooke, Scott Fisher (Karen), Christina Bliven (Mark), Sandy Delaney (Jason) and Sherri Kenworthy; Samantha, Victoria, Collin, Colter, Amanda, Tristen, Sasha and Ethan. She is also survived by several cousins and friends.

A reception will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Mauer-Johnson-Earnest Funeral Homes (780 12th St SW, Le Mars, IA 51031).

“My deepest sympathy to the family for your loss. Kristy was my classmate from Elementary school to high school. We spent a lot of time together and had fun at sleep overs. Kristy and I attended Confirmation together at St. John's American Lutheran Church in LeMars. May it comfort you to know that she is with her Savior in Heaven.”
