It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marcella Katherine (Le Mars, Iowa), who passed away on March 10, 2026, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Schwebach and Leona Schwebach (Peters); her husband Robert Plueger; her siblings, Esther Rohrs, Donnie Schwebach, Bernadette Conley, Delores Ashmore, Caroline Schwebach, Betty Jean McConnell and Lillian Koch; her great grandchild Taylor James Jelken; and her grandson Eric Plueger.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Smith (Daryl) of Le Mars, IA, Donna Taylor (Ken) of Le Mars, IA, Gary Plueger (Susan) of The Woodlands, TX, James Plueger (Susan) of Le Mars, IA and Susie Luken (Greg) of Slidell, LA; and her brother Richard Schwebach. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
