We are sad to announce that, on April 8, 2026, at the age of 53, Michael Edward Herbst (Le Mars, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Lloyd Herbst; and his son Izaac Herbst. He is survived by: his wife Cheri Lyn Wiltgen; his child Cayla Herbst; his grandchild Haydyn of Le Mars; his son Austin Herbst (Lauren); his grandson Waylon of Le Mars; his son Ethan Herbst of Le Mars; his mother Mary Herbst; his parents-in-law, Ron and Cheryl Wiltgen of Le Mars; and his siblings, Michele Evink (Michael) of Osceola, IA, Christine Stevermer (Joe) of Easton, MN and Rick Herbst of South Bend, IN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives.
