Norma Korver Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Norma Korver (Le Mars, Iowa), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 3, 2025 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Norma Korver to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Boer and Henrietta De Boer (Borgman); her parents-in-law, Henry M. and Grace Korver (Muyskens); her husband Marvin James Korver; her grandson Kelly Joel Korver; her siblings, Theran De Boer (Lillian), Audrey Heemstra (Merlin), Ila Cleveringa (Tunis), Leon De Boer and Colleen De Boer; and her siblings-in-law, Wilma Petersen (Roger), Marlys De Wild, Loretta De Haan (Henry), Cornelius'Case' Korver (Gladys) and Stan Brink.
She is survived by: her children, Dale Korver of Des Moines, IA, Bruce Korver (JoAnn) of Maurice, IA, David Korver (Rhonda Heston) and Mary Buckhaus (Dan) of Montfort, WI; her grandchildren, Amanda, James, Emily, Maria, Benjamin, Christy, Rachel, Jon, Justin, Ellie and Sarah; her brother Irwin De Boer (Karen); and her siblings-in-law, Lorraine Brink and Alvin De Wild. She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Rexwinkel Funeral Home (107 12th St SE, Le Mars, IA 51031). A prayer will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Calvin Christian Reformed Church (326 7th St SE, Le Mars, IA 51031).
