With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ralph Niehus (Le Mars, Iowa), who passed away on July 17, 2025 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Niehus and Adeline Niehus (Wolbers); his wife Jean Niehus (Kunkel); and his siblings, Doyle Niehus (Vi), Jim Niehus (Helen), Pat Niehus, Kay Theeler (Steven) and Lavonne Niehus.
He is survived by: his children, Chuck Niehus (Dora) of Lyons, CO, Dale Niehus (Linda) of Overland Park, KS, Randy Niehus (Linda) of Le Mars, IA, Jane VanWyhe (Kevin) of Le Mars, IA and Curt Niehus of Le Mars, IA; his grandchildren, Candi Steel (Bill), Jami Gleason, Derek Niehus (Erin), Kristin Desai (Raj), Shaun Niehus (Alexandria), Kyle Niehus (Kari), Brett Niehus (Kenzie), Tyler Niehus (Haley Stinton), Kelly Niehus (Lexi Cameron), Cory Niehus (Socorra Rol), Andrew VanWyhe, Caleb VanWyhe, Chad Niehus (Hilary), Andrea Langel (Jeremy) and Caitlyn Niehus; his sister Donna Frerichs of Le Mars; and his sister-in-law Betty Niehus of Sioux City, IA. He is also survived by 32 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives.
