He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Kolker and La Eva Kolker (Wilberding); his parents-in-law, Bette and Hank Van Waart; and his stepmother Dorie Feller Kolker.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Van Waart; his sons, Michael (Erin Bunker) and David (Rachel); his grandchildren, Jake, Max, Henry Kolker, Nora Walz, Eloise and Amelia Kolker; his siblings, Linda, David Flakne of Naples Florida, Denise and Rob Olson of Monument; his sister-in-law Nancy Wiese (Larry) of Dakota Dunes; and his uncles, Kenneth (Diann Kolker) of Le Mars and Lloyd Kolker of Sioux City. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
