Roger Herman Goetz Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Herman Goetz in Ledyard, Iowa, who passed away on September 29, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Roger Herman Goetz to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Goetz and Sylvia Goetz (Balvance); his siblings, Jim Goetz and Janis Bratton; his siblings-in-law, Harley Paschke, Herbert Beenken, Arthur Wirtjes, Marvella Beenken and Doretta Wirtjes; and his niece Kristen Goetz.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Goetz (Church); his children, Roger Goetz, Jr. and Caron Wagner (Greg); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Adamson (Greg), Carlie Wagner (Bill Warholic), Catie Salesky and Alexander Goetz (Nikki); his great grandchildren, Gracee, Charlee, Sophee Salesky, Emma, Brayden Goetz and Teagan Adamson; and his sister Doris Paschke. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 1:00 PM at the Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home (500 E Walnut St, Springfield, MO 65806). A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery (5201 S Southwood Rd, Springfield, MO 65804).
