We announce the death of Jeff Zabel of Lehigh, Iowa, who passed away on September 24, 2026, at the age of 62. He is survived by: his parents, Jerald Zabel of Duncombe, IA and Clara Zabel (Ewing) of Rathbun, IA; his son Cody Zabel of Fowler, CO; and his siblings, Matt Zabel (Erin), Doug Zabel (Stephany), Levi Gansz (Kristin) and Kendra Gansz (Clint Wells). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
