He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Murray and Esther I. Murray (Knox); and his brothers, Andy and Harold Murray. He is survived by: his children, Melanie and James Murray (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Locklind Westberg (Liberty), Tucker Murray and Karina Murray; his great grandchild Leland Wayne Westberg; and his siblings, Sylvia Pigman (Darrell), Susan Thompson (Keith), William Murray (Tracy) and Stephanie Jones (Rod). He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Lehigh Community Center (114 Main St, Lehigh, IA 50557).
