He was predeceased by: his father Allen Peterson; his parents-in-law, Robert and Janice Blankenship; his brother-in-law Monty Branstad; and his nieces, Tera and Heather.
He is survived by: his mother Jean Peterson (Thompson) of Leland; his wife Robin Peterson of Forest City; his children, Denny Peterson of Forest City and Tracy Jordan (Travis) of Garner; his grandchildren, Aiden Richardson of Clear Lake, Claire and Sophia Jordan of Garner; his sisters, Nancy Buffington (Bruce) of Forest City and Tammy Callahan of Forest City; his in-laws, Leslie Grothe of Forest City and Todd Blankenship (Jonie) of Leland; and his pet Ruby. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the West Prairie Lutheran Church (40041 150th Ave, Leland, IA 50453). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
