He was predeceased by: his parents, Genard Duryee and Pearl Duryee (Backus); his son Adam Duryee; and his siblings, Ronald, Marvin, Darrel, Verne, Gordan, Jimmy, Wayne, Diane and Donna.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Duryee (Betty) of Leland, IA; his children, Kevin Duryee (Roseann) of Garner, IA and Susan Duryee of Altoona, IA; his grandchildren, Jenny Borcherding (Shane) of Sheffield, IA, Cory Duryee (Taylor Averhoff) of Owatonna, MN, Mariah Wheeler (Sabino Zuniga) of Altoona, IA and Jenna Wheeler of Altoona, IA; his great grandchildren, Wesley, Skylar, Taylor, Natalie, Avah and Julian; and his sisters, Barbara Woolworth of Cresco and Cherie Landers (Greg) of Greene.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Leonard Duryee memorial fund in care of the family.
