He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Herbert and Myrtle Geneva Beckett (Price); and his siblings, Earl, Leola Adams and Jane Sanburn.
He is survived by: his sisters, Imogene Mains of Mt. Ayr, Lois Lamb of Mt. Ayr and Janice Miller (Mike) of Creston; his niece Lori Mains (Tom Brokaw) of Lenox; and his pet Lady.
Memorials may be directed towards The Arising Methodist Church in Lenox, Iowa.
