He is survived by : his former life partner Doris Roe (Dorie); his children, Alan Key (Cathy), Mike Key (Mindy French), Deb Dalton (Dick) of Lenox, Iowa, Jacquie Ellis of Maryville, Missouri and Sandra Marshall (David) of Lenox, Iowa; and his grandchildren, Brian, Miles, Jasen, Tasha, Megan, Jordan, Paul, Amy, Evan, Scott, Nick, Tyson and Britty.
