It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolene Hullinger Leeper (Leon, Iowa), born in Weldon, Iowa, who passed away on September 27, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Samuel and Winnie Grace James (Thompson); and her husbands, Duane Hullinger and David Leeper. She is survived by: her children, Michael (Joan Hullinger), Marvin (Louise Hullinger), Randy (Debbie Hullinger), Cheri (Charlie Nyberg) and David (Wendy Hullinger); her grandchildren, Matt, Michelle (Brent), Brooke (Matt), Tyler, Amy and Abby; her great grandchildren, Avrey, Evan, Aiden, Cohen and Connor; and her siblings, Marie Waugh (Bill) of Des Moines, Iowa and Norman James (Jeannette) of Des Moines. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; and other relatives and many friends.
