He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Franklin and Minnie LaVerne Green (McLaughlin); his grandsons, Josh Fogle and Jeremy Fogle; his great grandchildren, Jerica and Jocelyn Akers; and his siblings, Helen, Virginia (Ray Waddell), Pauline "Polly" (Don Young), Archie (Gertie Green), Arline Young, Dick (Martha Green), Marcine (Bill Jones), Ralph (Faye Green), Neil Green, Ruth (Charles Reed) and Dusky (Betty Green).

He is survived by: his wife Toshiko Green of Derby, Iowa; his daughter Mich Fogle (Gary) of Derby; his grandchildren, Midori, Andrew Akers, Mikayla, Caleb Davis, Jordan Reed, Amanda, Luke Smith, Kyle and Heather Fogle; his great grandchildren, Asher, Maelynn, Hallie, Lincoln, Royce, Wren, Adler, Emma, Gunner, Tysn, Steele, Stella, Summit and Delaney; his sister Ellie Cornett; and his sister-in-law Donna Jean Green. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

A memorial service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Slade - O'Donnell Funeral Home (103 NE Mill St, Leon, IA 50144).
