It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Lee Sewick (Leon, Iowa), who passed away on December 24, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferm Sewick and Edith Sewick (Crouch); his granddaughter Kimberly; his great grandchild Jaxson; and his siblings, Ray, Max Sewick and Joan Lenertz.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Sewick of Leon; his children, Jim, Marcia Sewick of Waukon, Tom, Tresa Sewick of Fremont and Barb Sewick of Leon; his grandchildren, Kelly, Brian, Michael, Melissa and Taylor; his foster daughter Tammi Illg (Terry); and his children, Zachary, Brian and Becca. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren; a great, great granddaughter.
