She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald Lyle "Hoppy" Hopkins and Mary Hopkins (Schwartz); her stepfather Ralph Hibbs; and her grandson Evan Metcalf-Putnam. She is survived by: her child Jan; her sister-in-law Sharon; her husband Phil of Leon; her children, Jennifer (Michael) and Kurt Metcalf (Peggy) of Williamsburg, VA; her brother Dr. Bruce Hopkins (Sharon) of Spokane, Washington; her nieces, Mollie and Emily; her nephew Ben; her brothers-in-law, Donald Metcalf (Janet) of Des Moines, IA and Fred Metcalf of Washington, IA.; her grandchildren, Patrice, Alvin, Max, Krissy, Daniel Metcalf, Brendan Metcalf of Monterey, Patrick Metcalf of Williamsburg, Virginia and Brian Metcalf of Williamsburg, Virginia; her granddaughter-in-law Kim; and her great grandchild Zoey.
