He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Sullivan and Ethel Sullivan; and his siblings, Jerry Sullivan and Patricia Bearth. He is survived by: his wife Jeannie Sullivan of Leon, Iowa; his children, Matthew Sullivan (Alexei) of Kaneohe, Annie Nickell (Greg) of Allerton, Amy Tharp (Nick) of Leon and Emily Byler (Chris) of Leon; his grandchildren, Alicia Martinez (Lorenzo), Katelyn Nickell, Elizabeth Nickell, Nathan Tharp, Emma Tharp, Tyson Tharp, Ruxen Byler, Talen Byler, Cohen Byler and Kyden Byler; his great grandchild Eila Martinez; and his brothers, Dan Sullivan (Anne) of Lewiston and Mark Sullivan (Mike) of Omaha, Nebraska. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

A memorial fund has been established by the family.
