She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Henry Deemer and Eva Deemer (Waddell); her parents-in-law, Mansel and Wonda Smith (Boles); her sisters, Laverne Kaus (Dee) and Lois Johnson; her brothers-in-law, Neil Kidney and Charles MacDonald; and her son-in-law Randy Seynaeve.

She is survived by: her sisters, Laverne Eloise and Lois Elaine; her son Jeffrey Todd; her granddaughters, Sherri Lynn and Sheila Ann; her husband Max Smith of Mount Ayr; her children, Jeff Smith (Tammy) of Brighton, Lesa Klouda (Rick) of Silverdale, Sheila Perreault (Tony) of Silverdale and Sherri Seynaeve of Vancouver, Washington; her grandchildren, Kiley Gerhardy (Ryan), Chad Rouse (Katelyn), Tanner Smith, Emily Elder (Jacob), Joshua Seynaeve, Benjamin Le, Alexander Le, Elijah Le, Jennifer Black, Anica Klouda, Landon Klouda (Tiffany), Alexandra Ostrand (Daniel), Nicholas Perreault and Karissa Perreault; her sister Pamela Heckathorn of Scottsdale, AZ; and her siblings-in-law, Kay MacDonald of Storm Lake, Kenny Johnson of Mount Ayr and Neal Kaus of Canada. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
