He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Woodrow and Virginia Ellen Belle Dowell (Shuler); and his sister Ruth Lees. He is survived by: his daughter Traci; his wife Wanda Dowell of Leon; his son Darrin Dowell of Osceola, Iowa; his son-in-law Aaron Bean of Coal Valley, Illinois; his grandsons, Kye Dowell and Logan Bean; and his siblings, Charles (Sharon Dowell), Darlene (Corky Piper), Cheryl Dhaemers of Coal Valley, Joy (Russ Farren), Joyce Stablien of Moline, Dean Dowell, Terry (Tammy Dowell) and Jerry (Debbie Dowell). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
