She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Virgil and Hazel Charlotte Hembry (Poole); her husband Harry Bethards; her daughter Hazel Bethards; her sons-in-law, David Tuttle and Hartley Doane; her grandson Brady Tuttle; and her grandchildren-in-law, Martha Hembry, Doyle Hembry, Imogene, Tom Beardsley, Lois, Wiley Gray, Lucille, Bill Baughman, Betty Lou, Bill Halstead and Gail Hembry.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Tuttle of Des Moines, Darrell Bethards of Seymour and Doris Doane (Jack) of Lyons, Nebraska; her grandchildren, Shelley, Kelley, Amy, Kendra, Micaela, Sydney and Natalie; her siblings, Fred Hembry of Osceola, Gary Hembry of Osceola and Kay Fenn (Jim) of Nevada, Iowa; and her sisters-in-law, Lola Hembry of Creston and Dana Hembry of Osceola. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren; five great, great grandchildren.
