She was predeceased by: her parents, Gaylord Jerome and Marie Gardner (Oziah); her husband Marvin Barth; her son Ronald Barth; her son-in-law Sherman Lane; her grandson Tim Stevenson; and her siblings, Bob, Jim, Don Gardner and Bernice McCampbell Woodall.
She is survived by: her children, Marjorie Marie of Phyllis Jean, Lois Elaine (Bobby Wilcox), Charles Brian "Sam" (Candy Barth), Marge Horn of Lamoni, PJ (RJ Gleason), Lorraine Harper of Foley and Sharon Lane of Milo, Iowa; her daughter-in-law Lea Rae Barth of Ponca City, Oklahoma; her siblings, Clarence Gardner, Everett Gardner, Doris Geeding and Lois Manchester; and her siblings-in-law, Maurice (Jan Barth) and Maizel Dunn. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great, great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to Children's Homes, Inc. or Boys Town in Opal's memory.
