With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby Lea Smith of Leon, Iowa, who passed away on February 12, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray O'Neal and Delia Ellen Hill (Leahy); her husband Bob; her daughter Sherry Martin; her grandson Justin Smith; and her siblings, Glendoris (Bill Moreland), Ramona (Marion "Babe" Niday), Gil Ruiz (Junior Hill) and Paul (Dorothy Hill).
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Tony Veach, Rachel Klingston, Sadie, T. J. Wertz, Bailie, Tannor Schuldt, Matt, Cindy Moeller, Cassie, Josh Alley, Sydney Smith, Branton, Ellie Smith, Samuel Smith, Grant Smith, Gavin Smith, Hunter, Maddy Smith, Chandler, Maggie Smith, Gunnar Smith and Soiyer Smith; her niece Deena Edelstein; her sister Audrey Ruiz; and her sister-in-law Naomi Hill. She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren; three great, great grandchildren.
