With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James R. Eagen of Lime Springs, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 8, 2026 at the age of 52. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, James shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid James farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Keith Eagen and Margaret "Peg" Fickess (Aulwes); and his pet Cid. He is survived by: his close friend Kim Frank of Lime Springs, IA; his siblings, Brad O'Rourke of Riceville, IA, Ann O'Rourke of Cresco, IA and Cathy Lorenzen (Jeff) of Rochester, MN; his nephews, Nick, Andrew (Chelsea) and Joe; his great-niece Brooklynn; and his uncle Ken Eagen (Connie) of Osage, IA. He is also survived by several cousins; and his 2 fur babies.
