He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Herink and Marie Herink (Simon); his son Lance; and his sister Debbie Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Vickie Sienknecht of Lincoln; his daughter Heidi Bergen (Jed) of Sutton, NE; his grandsons, Wyatt Bergen (Naudia) of Omaha, NE and Jesse Bergen of Wayne, NE; his siblings, Rob Herink (Kathy) of Gladbrook, Jan Grossnickle of Liberty, NC and Donna Kehoe (Tom) of St. Petersburg, FL; and his pet Teddy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
