He was predeceased by : his parents, Ollie Groen and Clara Groen (Denekas); his siblings, Henrietta, Frances, Clarence, George and Verdell; and his sister-in-law Frances Groen.
He is survived by : his wife Verla Klingenberg; his sons, Mervis Groen (Lorie) of Little Rock, IA and Orvis Groen (Cheryl) of Little Rock, IA; his grandchildren, Cory Groen (Tammy), Stacy Sneller (Chad), Lance Groen (Mandy), Evan Groen (Laura) and Ethan Groen; and his great grandchildren, Aftin, Cade, Avery Groen, Taryn Odens, Presley Sneller, Briggs and Maddux Groen.
