He is survived by: his close friend Jennifer Rolland of Livermore; his children, Caleb Shimon of Titonka, Kim Peterson (Jake) of Gilmore City and Cassie Shimon (John) of Urbandale; his grandchildren, Harper, Barrett Peterson, Luke and Kaylee Shimon; and his brothers, Leo Shimon (Carla) of Fort Dodge, Bill Shimon (Louise) of Perry, Mike Shimon (Betty) of Dalhart, TX and Tom Shimon (Jessica) of Wichita, KS. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
