He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil "Curt" Madsen and Ruth "Deloris" Madsen (Clark); his stepfather Edwin "Ed" Wolfgram; his sisters, Brenda Morland, Debbie Madsen and Lori Carter; and his friend Mark Maybee.
He is survived by: his children, Nikki Madsen (Matt Michael) of Pisgah, Rory Madsen of Logan, Iowa, Brianna Cooper of Vail and Robbie Ingram of Onawa, Iowa; his grandchildren, Wyatt Michael and Laynie Michael; his siblings, Ruth "Deeann" Samuelson of Manly, Craig Madsen (Jody) of Council Bluffs and Yovette "Too-Too" Murphy of Mason City, Iowa; and his brother-in-law Ron "Frog" Carter of Onawa, Iowa. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
