He is survived by : his grandson Dawson; his wife Shawn Salter; his son James Salter (Jessica) of Okarche, Oklahoma.; his grandchildren, Seth, Sidra and Sean Montanez; his siblings, Tom Salter (Sally) of Missouri Valley, James Salter of Persia, Donald Salter (Bobbie) of Omaha, Sheri Foster of Missouri Valley, IA, Julie Corbin (Rick) of Bellevue, NE and Pam Seavers (Mike) of Woodbine, IA.; and his daughter Stacy Salter.
