He is survived by: his mother Joyce Irene Schaapveld (Pool) of Lone Tree; his former wife Holly Riley; his children, Macey and Patrick; and his siblings, Brett Schaapveld (Elizabeth Hunter) of Nichols, Ben Schaapveld (Julie) of Iowa City, Ryan Schaapveld (Rachel) of Cedar Rapids and Samantha Schaapveld (Dave Merten) of Mt. Pleasant.
