She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul O. Bailiff and Viola M. Bailiff (Gebbie); her husband Benny D. Johnson; her son-in-law Kevin Wieder; her grandson Tyler Johnson; and her siblings, Kenneth Bailiff, Vernon Bailiff, Richard Bailiff (Darlene), Evelyn Thomas (Ray) and Beverly Bohanan (Richard).
She is survived by: her children, Jennifer A. Pettitt (Allen) of Coralville, Joel B. Johnson (Janene) of LaValle and Jill C. Wieder of Iowa City; her grandchildren, Angie Mcneal (Will Davis), Ben Pettitt (Susan), Catie Woodford (Curt) and Sasha Kohn; her great grandchildren, Nikki Russell, Skyler Pettitt, Cecil Mcneal, Emerie Blieu (Caleb), Kailyn Pettitt, Danielle Pettitt, Braxton Kohn, Ethan Woodford, Tommy Pettitt, Kash Weisensel, Quinlea Johnson and Bennie Johnson; her great great grandchildren, Bryan, Aiden, Maridia, Elijah, Emilia, Aurora, Paisley and Olson; and her pet Jingles "Jingy".
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Lone Tree Fire and Rescue or the Lone Tree Presbyterian Church in memory of Dorothy.
