Gerald Burr Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on May 5, 2026, at the age of 91, Gerald Burr of Lone Tree, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Burr and Wanda Burr (Loga); his wife Alice Proctor; and his siblings, George, Robert, Clifford, Richard "Pete", Frank and Marian Schubich.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen Burr (Lisa) and Cynthia Burr; his grandchildren, Cheyenne Burr, Shayna Burr, Travis Mills (Natalie) and Natasha Smith (Dustin); his great grandchildren, Jayden Smith, Scarlett Smith, Gracelyn Smith, Brantley Mills, Journie Paul and Gavin Paul; and his brother Ralph Burr. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Iowa City Hospice or Disabled American Veterans.
