It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Rayner of Lone Tree, Iowa, born in Iowa City, Iowa, who passed away on November 15, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, George Rayner and Frances Rayner (May). He is survived by : his wife Janice Eden; his children, Julie Buline (Bob), Randall Rayner (Elaine) and Russ Rayner (Darcy); his grandchildren, Morgan Terrell (Blake), Jay Buline (McKenzie), Dillon Buline (Kacey), Gina Zelle (Tara), Quinn Rayner (Kiersten Jensen), Dalton and Austin Rayner; his great grandchildren, Corban, Jocelyn Terrell, Kipton, Maely, Demi, Eli, Laina, Edie Buline, Elouise and Atticus Zelle; and his brothers, Maynard Rayner (Betty), Donald Rayner (Jean), Ronald Rayner and Gary Eden (Beth).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lone Tree Fire and Rescue or to First United Methodist Church.
