She is survived by : her children, Jeff Terhune of Lone Tree and Julie Quigley (Jeff) of Lone Tree; her grandchildren, Jalynn McNeal (Brandon), Jordan and Jacob Quigley; her brother David Meyer (Dixie) of Lone Tree; and her cousin Larry Carpenter. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

“Joyce was a big part of my childhood and young adolescence. My parents bought the lot just to the east of Marilyn's home. Both Joyce and Janette were my main babysitters when I was growing up. Bowling night was on Thursday nights and they would come over and we would make pizza together. We remained friends through our lives. I was at my daughter Kim Pickering Schmidt's when I heard of Joyce's passing, and it made me very sad. I know you will all miss her, and I will miss her, too.”
