In loving memory of Susan H. Powers of Lone Tree, Iowa, born in Rapid City, South Dakota, who departed this world on March 1, 2026 at the age of 79. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Haney and Gwendolyn Haney (Ellis); her son Richard "Chuck" Powers; her in-laws, Lester and Gretchen Powers; and her brother-in-law Steven Powers.

She is survived by: her husband Richard Powers; her children, Scott Powers of Lone Tree and Sarah Gritton (Bruce) of Cedar Rapids; her grandchildren, Scott Dakota Powers, Jade Hinricks, Kage Squires (Nicole) and Jolie Gritton; her daughter Regan Fowler (Nick); and her pet Sandy Sunshine.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her honor to the Johnson County Humane Society.
